SPORT CLIMBING
Generally, we found quite good bolting around Turkey. Most of the big sport climbing crags are relatively new and the effort of the people to develop them as they should be developed is quite obvious. We found absolutely normal bolting in Geyik Bayir, Olimpos and CakIt vadi. The worst, as far as i remember, was at Akyarlar, but the reason was that the routes finish almost in the water and the salt vapors are decaying the iron. At BalIkkayalar we found many different protection tools - long-life and different types of ankers.
